Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Touchstone Electric website or scheduling any of our electrical services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Touchstone Electric.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Touchstone Electric website (touchstoneelectric.com) or engaging our electrical services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Services

Touchstone Electric provides licensed residential and light-commercial electrical services including, but not limited to, panel upgrades, EV charger installation, whole-home generator installation, lighting, wiring, and electrical inspections. All services are provided by or under the supervision of licensed electricians in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. Service availability may vary by location. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or discontinue any service at our discretion. Any quotes provided are estimates based on information available at the time and may be adjusted once our technician assesses the site.

Appointments & Cancellations

When you schedule an appointment through our website or by phone, you agree to: • Provide accurate information about the work required and site conditions. • Ensure that a responsible adult (18+) is present at the property during the appointment. • Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) or no-shows may be subject to a service fee. Touchstone Electric will make every effort to honor scheduled appointments but reserves the right to reschedule due to emergencies, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, check, and other payment methods as posted on our website at the time of service. • All prices are in U.S. dollars. • Any additional costs discovered during the work will be communicated to you before proceeding. • Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. • Returned checks will incur a $35 returned-check fee. For larger projects requiring materials procurement, a deposit may be required before work begins.

Warranty & Guarantee

Touchstone Electric warrants our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in installation or workmanship but does not cover: • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or third-party alterations. • Normal wear and tear or damage from acts of nature. • Equipment or materials that carry separate manufacturer warranties. To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period. We will assess the issue and, if covered, repair or correct the work at no additional charge. This warranty is your exclusive remedy and is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Touchstone Electric's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event will Touchstone Electric be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Touchstone Electric website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Touchstone Electric or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from our website for personal, non-commercial use only. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
